Online ordering system for restaurants
We finished yet another project in June 2020. This time an ordering system for Saigon restaurant in Rzeszów. The system created allows the Customer to sell food online directly from its own website, without external portals or additional commitments. A basic premise of the project was lowering the cost of servicing orders and freeing the restaurant from portals, allowing customers to order food online. An additional advantage of the solution is its complete control over the ordering process and building its own base of loyal customers.
Restaurant employees have access to a dedicated ordering panel, which they can open with one click on any device – regardless of whether it is a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, the whole service can be held in one hand.
The system’s backend was engineered to maximize user comfort. There is no need for technical skills or the help of specialists just to service orders or update the menu, delivery or payment data. Internet payments were also integrated, minimalizing cash payments and maximizing Customer comfort, though the ability to pay during pick-up by cash or card was kept for traditionalists.
The system was additionally equipped with a loyalty program for Customers, allowing them to collect points or exchange them for discounts. Moreover, individual codes – whether one-off or for a special occasion – can be generated.
The built-in accounting module enables the automated issuing of receipts and invoices. We also gave the restaurant a module generating a fiscal report for a given period, thanks to which the restaurant quickly gains access to all key sales information.
The system itself was tailored to the graphic design requested by the Customer. The website is fully responsive and quickly opens on any device. In engineering the formula and next steps for ordering, we took care to meet all the norms of UX.
